The Call to Arms!
 God is recruiting all worshiping warriors from near and far to marshal upon Mt. Cheaha as we unite to “Thunder on the Mountain” – a massive prayer maneuver with Prophets, Intercessors and Multitudes of Drummers!
Psalm 144:1 says, “He has taught my hands to war and my fingers to fight.”
Enlist in God’s army and report for the Tactical Training Conference on September 8th and 9th that will culminate with the “Thunder on the Mountain” on Mt. Cheaha in Oxford, Alabama on September 10th.
Isaiah 13:2-5 says, "Lift up a banner on the high mountain, raise your voice to them, wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. I have commanded my sanctified ones; I have also called my mighty ones for my anger – those who rejoice in my exaltation. The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like that of many people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together! The LORD of hosts musters the army for battle. They come from a far country, from the end of heaven - The LORD and His weapons of indignation, to destroy the whole land (of Babylon).”
Through the “Thunder on the Mountain”, we are asking God to unleash the power of His anger against the enemies of His people and purpose through the sound of the rejoicing of those who rejoice to exalt their God.
Zechariah 9:13-14 says, "For I have made Judah (people of praise) a bow bent for my use, I have made Ephraim (doubly fruitful) the arrows of the bow; I will make your sons, O Zion, take up arms against your sons, O Greece, and will make you like the sword of a man of war. And the Lord will be seen over them, and his arrow will go out like the thunder-flame: and the Lord God, sounding the war-horn, will go in the whirlwinds of the South.
The prophets are declaring that in the spirit realm, the whirlwinds will blow out of the South and will change the spiritual climate of the nation. In the natural realm, the wind actually comes up from Mobile Bay, hits Mt. Cheaha and goes straight up and creates an invisible “wind highway” that blows all the way to Maine.
The Battlefield
The highest point in Alabama – atop Mt. Cheaha in Oxford – Elevation 2407
Psalm 24:7 says, “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.”
The Battle
“ Tactical Training Conference” and “ Thunder on the Mountain” – September 8th – 10th
Take your place in formation and engage in warfare with a phalanx of fully-mic’d drum kits, hand drums, percussion instruments, banners and shofars leading the charge.
Numerous examples in Scripture depict the result of the armies of God engaging in battle through radical demonstrations of obedient praise:
- Joshua at Jericho (Joshua 6)
- Gideon and the Midianites (Judges 7)
- David and the Philistines (I Samuel 17)
- Jehoshaphat and the Ammonites (II Chronicles 20)
- And the list goes on . . .
What did they all have in common? In every one of those battles, to one degree or another, there was as a strategy to “Say”, “Pray” and “Play”.
The Strategy
We will “Say” – To sing, Speak, Declare or Prophesy the word of the Lord.
We will “Pray” – Strategy comes through prayer!
Then we will “Play” – “ The Thunder of a Thousand Cannons”
To Sing, Speak, Declare or Prophesy the word of the Lord.
When the Prophets of old would speak forth the word of the Lord, it would carry with it the full authority of God released into the atmosphere.
Joining in the “Thunder” offensive will be a stalwart company of seasoned Prophetic voices, with a sensitivity to hear from the Lord and to speak forth His word to this generation, at this crucial time in the Kingdom. They will prophesy and release Holy Spirit directives for the battle.

Strategy comes through prayer!
When Jehoshephat prayed, a strategy came; when David prayed, a strategy came.
The intercessory prayers will be the under-girding force of the release of the prophetic word. We will intercede on behalf of this generation to the demolishing of strongholds and the release of those held captive to spiritual bondage and oppression.
The prayer initiatives that will be extracted from the prophetic words will give focused targets at which God’s army will take aim.
Intercessors and prayer groups from across the nation are being mobilized together as a unified voice in the heavenlies on the day of this release of the "Thunder of a Thousand Cannons."
Your voice is needed to join with other intercessors from around the nation and abroad, to release the timely decrees for this strategic day of breakthrough for this nation. You will be there to help undergird the prophetic voices with a unified voice of intercession. Come and represent your city and region and release missiles of intercession from atop Cheaha Mountain in Oxford Alabama. The "Tactical Training Conference” on the 8th and 9th is going to be great to prepare and equip us and will provide time for all the intercessors there to come together to strategize for the day of THUNDER! Your voice is needed!

"Thunder of a Thousand Cannons"
We will come together and release the sound of the "Thunder of a Thousand Cannons" through the striking of the drums and percussion instruments.
Radical missiles of praise and proclamation will be released as the sound of thunder into the Heavens and as an assault on the enemies of God.
Isaiah 30:31-32 says, "For through the thunder of the LORD shall the enemies be beaten down, and the Lord's rod will be lifted up against him. And every blow of the rod of his punishment, which the Lord will send on him, will be with the sound of tambourines and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it."

Protection for each one of the speakers, drummers and musicians and their families.
Protection for the prayer captains, intercessors and their families who will be attending the Tactical Training and Thunder on the Mountain.
Spirit of unity for those at Word Alive and Ray Hughes & Selah Staff and those helping with the preparation.

Pray for the finances to come in for Thunder on the Mountain. This is well in excess of $125,000 for this event.
Pray for the word about the Thunder event to get out to those who are ordained to attend.
Pray for the Tactical Training Conference - (Psalm 91; Psalm 84:5-12; John 4:23-24; Acts 2:1-4; Romans 8:26-27)
Pray for the spirit of wisdom, intercession and revelation upon all the sessions.
Pray that the enemy would be bound from all aspects of the conference and the Holy Spirit would have freedom to do His work and accomplish what needs to be accomplished.
Pray for the spirit of unity among every aspect and among all those involved.
Pray for everyone’s hearts to be opened to allow God to impart and bring forth spiritual breakthrough.
Pray for divine unity amongst the prophetic voices and the prayer teams.
Pray for the Thunder Event - (Eph. 1:15-23; Isaiah 62:6-7; Zech. 9:13-14; Psalm 91; Psalm 144:1; Isaiah 13:2-5)

Pray for God’s strategies to come forth concerning the breaking open of the heavens over Alabama and the Nation.
That the Gates of Justice would be opened and the river of His presence would flow forth into the Nation.
Pray the sound of heaven to be released across the nation to break the cycle and patterns of the enemy.
